So we have mods communicating potential doubleaccounts in the weekend-thread. Handle it in you closed staff forum if you mean business and stop talking interna in this thread, keeping users interested and derailing the thread. This weekend has great potential boxoffice wise, so would you please do your best to have this discussion on topic? Would be awesome.

Whatever, what's going on at this place the last couple of weeks is just crazy. There's no clear line at all concerning moderation. You've got Mods and Staff spamming weekend threads with gifs and off-topic discussions and the next week, they ban a mod for making a joke. It's like everything is compeltely random and next week you have to follow the instructions of the mod again, that got recently suspended. Maybe we get another big "I'm Sorry" Heartbreaker story...

So first, 1 Mod fools the whole place and with the next step, the whole team does the same? This place has serious problems. Real suspension or not.

Disneys german movietitles and subtitles are hilariously bad most of time. I can understand, they want to have german sounding titles, but sometimes they just go completely crazy and Call "Thor: The dark World" "Thor: The dark kingdom" And it just doesn't make sense, why they switched it that way.

We're in exactly the same situation holiday wise, like when Zootopia opened. So I made a calculation, excluding previews, and with an equal IM, Jungle book is looking at 1,05m admissions for the weekend and around 1,3m admissions for the week. Let's see, it went on for a big OD, after disappointing early numbers.

Melissa McCarthy will always be Sookie and Molly as a contrast, though. What is Adam Sandlers change up? I think it will do Melissas career very good, reminding people, what a great character brought her to what she is today.

The Trailer fails to sell a world, that seems real. It looks fake, it feels heartless and i'm disappointed, Spielberg wasn't able to create a world, you'd love to take a journey to. -
Oh dear, this is horrible. I think it's not important now, if it's a weekend or a weekday movie. It's a movie, that got absolutely killed by buzz and critics. A 71% drop against a single openener, that is DOA, is worrisome.

Nope, unless theres a big Preview on thursday, it's quite common, movies jump up to 10%.

Because big openers are usually frontloaded on weekdays, it's completely normal.

The thing is, F7 seems like a best case scenario in many ways. If you take Clash of the Titans or GI Jo 2 as a reference on 2nd weekend, you'll have a range of $50-54m over the weekend. We'll have to see how friday goes, of course, but at the moment I don't expect BvS to beat Deadpool in the end.

So with BvS having dropped behind FF7s pace, being $17m ahead, I guess we can call $370m the high end and the race for 2016 SH crown is pretty much on between Deadpool, BvS, CA3 and SS. I think, that CA3 should do it, but $370m is still a huge number to achive and SS has a great buzz so far.

Mh, so while Batman might have disppointed some poeple, we're now on for a great BO-Showdown between Deadpool and Batman. Will be interesting to follow that race in a somewhat boring april.

If it did Clash of the Titans drops, it would only do $157m off a 80,5m OD... With American Reunion-Drops, it would come in with $155m. So it's not, that they are estimating exceptionally harsh drops. BvS will have a better Sundy, due to Imax, but I don't know where the legs should come from this weekend.

Actual weekend = Without Previews. Well, I don't want to talk you into losing faith, but I think you will be disappointed. IM3 just barely did it with 175m. If BvS did 10m less, it's going to be a very long way to 400m.
