  1. Yeah I'm going with a number more around there. The Friday bump would have to be pretty substantial for it to get to $120M.
  2. I'm guessing about $14.5M today and about $29M on Friday, leading to a $100M+ 2nd weekend for BP!
  3. Thank you for clearing that up, and for adding your token Avatar mention to the thread. Now all we need is for that Odin guy to come and somehow bring up Thor.
  4. So we're all guessing about today's numbers but have there been any actual updates? As I said before, my prediction is $22M-$23M. A DEADPOOL-like Tuesday drop would give it about $23.5M. Over/under that?
  5. Was Marvel a "dwindling franchise" after AGE OF ULTRON? Exactly. I know you're high on Black Panther's success at the moment but let's refrain from statements like this, shall we?
  6. Seeing this on Friday with my movie group. Looking forward to it! Expecting it to be unique, a lot like EX MACHINA was.
  7. Winston Duke really was a gem in this. The vegetarian line, as well as "Are you done yet?" Made my audience howl both times I saw it. Going today to see it for the 3rd time, by the way. Haven't done that with a Marvel or any superhero movie since CIVIL WAR.
  8. Tomorrow will by far be the biggest non holiday/summer Tuesday ever. The top 12 are all in late December or June/July. At #13, and currently leading the way for non-holiday/summer Tuesday's, is BEAUTY AND THE BEAST with $17,878,785.
  9. I know the feeling. Its opening records are going to go down but nothing is grossing more than it in total domestically for a long, long time.
  10. Not expecting it at all but I'm secretly hoping for a Saturday record. Then again, I hoped the same for STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI and it wasn't close.
  11. What do you guys think the internal multiplier will be like for the weekend? CIVIL WAR's Thursday preview number was also $25M. Are we expecting roughly the same number for the weekend (over/under $179M)?
  12. Nah. Do something where you can interact. You can never go wrong with coffee and maybe a walk in a nice area if the weather is right. Then again, you already know each other pretty well so I guess it's a different story here.
  13. Saw the trailer for this at THE SHAPE OF WATER a little while ago. The voice cast is amazing, but it did nothing for me. Like, at all.
  14. So what are we looking at now for BP's 3-day opening weekend? $150M+? $170M+ for the 4-day?
