So I've just noticed that BAD SAMARITAN and OVERBOARD moved to May 4. I had been wondering which films will occupy that May 4 slot after its only release - AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - moved.
Also noticed that IW is now all alone on April 27. Yep, that was quick.
You guys do realize that that is just the physical costume, aka without any CGI. I mean, do you know how stupid RDJ looks on set as Iron Man? Or even Chadwick in the Black Panther suit? Relax, you're not going to see obvious foam muscles on screen. Seriously lol here.
This movie just doesn't interest me whatsoever. It's weird, because usually this is the kind of me movie that grabs me and I'm there opening night.
I dont know. For me, personally, this year's March slate is pretty muted outside of RED SPARROW and TOMB RAIDER.
Great Friday number for BP considering the lower than expected Wednesday and Thursday numbers. Heading for a $60+M weekend for sure, which will be the 3rd best 3rd weekend after TFA and AVATAR (I'm assuming it doesn't go over $68M).
WB is probably piiiiiiiissed. Before IW moved, RAMPAGE was the only tentpole of the entire month, was it not?
Yep. There are a couple potential horror hits in A QUIET PLACE and TRUTH OR DARE, but that's it.
I loved BP but I have to agree with you here. The CGI was depressing. Actually, Marvel is starting to get lazy with CGI in general. I ignore it because I'm having so much fun with this universe but I can't pretend it's not an issue for me.
$25M estimated Friday for BP? If that happens then I guess that's just everything balancing our after the strong Thursday hold. That, or estimates do in fact go up closer to $30M. We will see.
