Cameron is involved but by his own admission a normal week for him was Avatar by Day, Alita by Night and Terminator on Weekends. I think his involvement will be much less than it was on Alita which makes sense Terminator was originally around a year before Avatar 2's release.

$400M+ depending on how China does. Don't see it breaking out to a $500M OS total atm.

Ok that was loads of fun. And actually some subtle changes to the original worked well for me. Definitely agree it belongs in TJB and Cinderella category of good remakes and not in the BatB or (unfortunately for me) Dumbo category of mediocrity. Let's not talk about the Alice movies or Malificent.

Hmm would be amusing if Toy Story 4 breaks out too considering both it and Aladdin have had their fair share of doubters.

I'm curious to what people had Aladdin for the Summer Game

If it's close enough to Avatar by the time TLK hits then I can see Disney pulling double features for Endgame otherwise yeah Aladdin will most likely get it seeing as it'll probably play really well into the Summer. $700M+ WW looks like a very good target.

God I hope this gets an Australian release even if its all the way in November like Your Name.

Well you can obviously make your point about wanting more people to see Booksmart without putting Aladdin down. It's not even about people wanting to watch Aladdin vs wanting to watch Booksmart it's about people prefer to stay at home vs watching Booksmart.

Critics can only be honest with how they feel about a film. And treating critics as if they're one big collective who is a hive mind is missing the entire point of subjectivity of opinions and film criticism. Just focus on critics who align with your tastes or who you feel do a good job of articulating why or why not a film works.

You know these past couple of days I've been getting quite used to seeing A Dog's Purpose dailies being updated first cause then you know the other films are not far behind

Anyways......moving on the MCU now averages $600M+ OS which is pretty remarkable for a 22 Film series and shows the power the brand has crucially in upcoming markets which will hold Phase 4 in good stead since I assume an Avengers 5 isn't coming for a while.

Season has been fantastic so far. Never though it could capture the tone of the movie the way the show has. Episode 7 especially.

Well I didn't know much about Booksmart but seeing how much recommendations its getting I might check it out...........on July 11th since that's the Aussie release date.

Yeah statements like that are just done to get a rise out of people. Avatar and Endgame had insane runs for different reasons.

The thing with TROS's OS chances is that TLJ already hit very low numbers in many Asian and Latin America markets already. Other than China there's not much more room left to go down. If its gonna fall drastically OS from TLJ it'll be cause the big Star Wars markets such as UK, Europe, Australia/NZ and Japan also decrease in huge numbers too. Would love for Frozen 2 to hit $1B OS since no animated movie has done that before but most likely gonna be in the $900M range.

Yeah appealing to children is why both TLK and Frozen 2 are gonna be massive.

Weird to think for me Flash is now the worst of the DC CW shows. It really peaked too early in S1 though S1 is probably the best Flash movie you're gonna get seeing as how the Flash film has been stuck in limbo.
