The only way this would be cool if someone rigs it and something trashy and cool like Venom 2 or Malignant wins this instead of the obvious movie everyone will choose.
Whatever character Michael Stuhlbarg is playing in this >>>> Wanda
Edit: Imagine disagreeing with this. Michael Stuhlbarg always plays the best character in all his movies.
So I guess we can all agree that John Cena is the best WWE fighter turned actor? I don't think any of those other guys have even had the opportunity to show the kind of range Cena shows here. Always found him to be a funny actor (incredibly funny in Blockers and the only funny part of Trainwreck), but he's really good here.
I don't really see how WB even thinks that even if this has decent demand, that it is going to get enough good screens when Avatar 2 will take them all. Way fewer people are going to watch this when Avatar 2 takes all the PLF screens and afternoon and evening shows while this just ends up getting morning and late night shows. How tf are previews gonna even work? This already happened with previous WB films like Detective Pikachu and Matrix 4 and those didn't release on the same day as the record breaking hits they competed against.
