    With that kind of really excessively well-done large scale action sequences, while seems out of place in a young teen movie, HTTYD2'd surely make the older attending audience go nuts on social media, creating buzz for other potential ticket buyer? I mean, look at that battle sequence: it is LOTR-level of epic-ness.

    Truth be told, a strange movie like Inception earning more than $300M WW will be considered an amazing feat. How it ended up with $800M WW is still an unexplained phenomenon. My guess is WB considers Nolan as the golden goose so they let him do whatever he wants as long as he comes back for TDKR.

    Mojo should aggregate gross figures for different regions of the world: North America, Latin America (incl. Mexico?), Europe (you could break it down further to Northern & Southern & Russia+Eastern Europe), UK + Australia, Asia, which could be sub-divided into South East Asia (Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Philippines etc) and Northern Asia (China, Korea, Japan). Although Chinese & Japanese taste vary a lot. Africa & Middle East are fast growing emerging markets but still not substantial.

    I would relocate ST3 in the Fall like some suggested here. ID4 in July: Fox is confident aren't they? Prometheus is a visually stunning movie with bad script they should hire a better writer for their more important franchise here.

    I am also talking about May 2014 schedule. A pair of hyped superhero movies, one big Disney movie, one giant monster movie within one week of each other. I feel that XMDOFP could do even better business if it stays out of the competition.

    Yea let's see how it does on 2nd weekend. Domestic take may be very low for the quality of the movie produced here. Maybe DW made it too intense for younger audience. The depiction of scary rows of teeth in the posters don't really help. Toothless is cuter..because it is near toothless....

    Anybody still think Hollywood is killing itself by releasing movies closely packed to each other? Look at Disney with its Apr 4 release for CAP2. That's a smart decision
