kitik
I do feel bad for original movies that bomb. Bomb/disappoints are great for the big movies. I am glad the hobbit disapointed on the domestic front even though I like LotR films. When big franchises disappoint it slows down the franchise films and make sure quality happens. All we now Marvel could start release 4-5 movies a year not caring about the quality. You might be right about 4 Marvel movies a year, but you're wrong about them not caring about quality. The list of names attached to Marvel movies is simply fantastic. They absolutely care about the quality because they will want people to keep coming back time after time. And so far, the quality has been pretty darn good.
Spidey Freak
Tbh, I'm happy with anything over 400m. But now that we've established this is acting like a family film, even with STiD next week, it'll probably still manage some big weekend increases. And then with Memorial weekend after, it's going to get a big boost. DMC is the target right now I'd say. 400m should be the goal. Anything above that is pure, delicious gravy!! Kvikk Lunsj
LOL they don't even want to pay Thor a lot of money and he got his own movie. And wasn't he in Skyfall? He should have gotten a nice little paycheck for that. He would into Marvel's office and they would see how good looking he is and He is too damn sexy. Heretic
Shrek 2's run is absolutely mind-boggling. I love it, but still mind-boggling. Edited May 12, 2013 by Heretic
#ED
Here we go. Awesome weekend for IM3 leading into possibly shitty weekdays, with an unsure weekend ahead vs Star Trek.

Look at Pixar their films have gone down hill since being owned by Disney.
