I was thinking that it happened in 2009-but then I remembered that Alvin 2 made 48M on it's OW.

Game 7 was the second highest rated game in ABC history since ABC took over in 2003. Thats over 20M viewers and an average rating of 17.7 with a peak of 22. I can WWZ noy getting hit as hard because it being an opener, plus later showtimes, but theres no doubt alot of that hit MOS.
