Only 9 movies currently over $150m on year with The Heat becoming 10th next couple weeks. Adjusted for inflation this is by farthe worst pace of decade. Probably worst since 2005.

 

Still the highest grossing summer so far and #3 adjusted, so really not that big a deal.
