Dancing is a big part in the Bollywood movies and while Hrithik is among the all-time top 5 best actor in the Bollywood and among the all-time top 2 best dancer along with Pravu Deva.

I think what the article is referring to is only Hindi dubbed version pre-sales...it's not including BB2's original Telugu version and other South dubbed version pre-sales. BB2's Hindi version gross was only 40% of overall India day1 gross.

Going by BoxOfficeIndia, looks like roughly 50%+ of Avatar2's India gross came from South India. Population wise, South India is only 18% of overall country population but there is a significant difference in movie going culture in South India vs North India.
