Film Critics Awards 2011 (Winners in 1st post)

Also I hope something good comes out of this late Nick Nolte resurgence. Maybe Von Sydow not showing up is a sign that his performance isn't as OMFG amazing as the early screenings suggested. And these could prove what I said yesterday about Close and Mara having no buzz is true.

Serkis got CC nom. I doubt AMPAS and SAG (especially SAG) will follow the cue but this is the further he`s ever managed. We`ll see how GG responds. They like to show off.besides, critic awards don`t mean shit. The best predictor are the guilds and even they don`t get it 100% (cough DGA and Nolan cough).

Lots of Drive love but zero for Gosling. Because he`s so unpleasent to everyone. That must be the reason why Maramania isn`t happening so far. her interviews didn`t come off sympathetic and likable.

Funny, because from what I've read people who interview or meet him talk about how surprisingly nice he is. Though admittedly he does come across as awkward in some of his actual interviews, if that's the reason people don't vote for him... *sigh*

So fucking disappointed at the DH2 snubs. I told myself to not expect nominations, but WTF. Andy Serkis over Ralph Fiennes and Rickman? Give me a fucking break.

Rickman, yeah, but Fiennes doesn't deserve shit for DH2.Oh, and St. Louis is probably the best all around group of nominations I've seen yet.
