Jack Nevada
Lemony Snicket's Serious of Unfortunate Events is on right now. I'd forgotten just how astonishing the production design and Lubezki's cinematography were in this movie.

CJohn
It was closer to 150M. AND he's a fat guy who falls down a lot and his name sounds like Paul Fart. What's not to love? Everything?
CaptainJackSparrow
And I am sure parents would have taken their kids to see Paul Blatter rather than Hotel For Dogs.
Sam
This amnesia plot, damn it's fantastic. Why wait for GL to premiere when you get laughs right now?Spider-Man 3? I have a love/hate relationship with that movie. I can't just jump on watching it, gotta prepare properly for the onslaught of whatever it threw out there. Ezen Baklattan
So yeah, Rush is pretty great. Hopefully it snags several tech category nods.
CaptainJackSparrow
The only time I have seen two movies at the theaters in one day was with Madagascar 3 and Prometheus. Madagascar 3 sucked so much I needed to see another film.
CoolioD1
I haven't seen a movie in cinemas since Elysium. I was gonna see Rush a couple weeks ago but didn't. idk, I might see Prisoners in the week.

Sam
I think the weekend thread hasn't been this alive (somewhat) in weeks. I watched Don Jon, Rush, and Instructions Not Included yesterday. Don Jon was only okay, but I love Rush and INI, both are strongly emotional films that delivered well in a lot of aspects.

mcclaine
I watched 2 Guns two days ago and it was great! It reminded me of 80's early 90's buddy action movies, fun and silly...!

Fancyarcher
MTV is playing The Pacificer right now. That doesn't seem like a movie they would air. Edited September 28, 2013 by Boxofficefanatic
mcclaine
Has anyone seen a movie so bad at the theaters they had to see a better one right after? Yes... Back in 97, I remember watching Metro and hating it so much i went to see Die Hard With A Vengeance, making at that time my 4th watch of DHWAV. Finally i ended up watching that film 6 times in theaters... Edited September 28, 2013 by mcclaine
