The marketing for Don Jon was all over the place.  It even was a sponsor for Jay Mohr's radio show the last few weeks.

Is Rush a hard R rating?  Many reviews/articles point out how much nudity is in the film.  That might keep some people away who might have been interested in the story.

Still, JGL had a blitzkrieg marketing campain and they were probably expected a bit more.

EW cover, guest senior editor on IMDB, talk shows you name it, he did it all.

And Scarjo is one of the biggest stars at the moment.

Nudity was horrible in this movie, schoking to say the least.

It lasts at least 8 seconds in a 2 hour plus movie and you see people making love : something kids should never be subjected to.

Rush is a really disturbing film.

Judging from other computer animated movies with under 40 m OW it will end up under 150 m.Over the Hedge is the only exception (38/155).

Legitimately disappointed in this weekend. 9.3m for Cloudy 2 is barely more than the first movie did four years ago. This is the first family movie since Planes and it's not going to break 40m. 3.7m is weak for Rush and Prisoners collapsed.

I really wanted to see 10M+ for Don Jon, 14M+ for Rush and under 40% drop for Prisoners. None of that will be happen and Cloudy 2 OW is quite 'meh' too.

 Cloudy 2, Rush and Baggage Claimall received an A- CinemaScore from moviegoers. Don Jon was the odd-man out with a C+.

That's good for Rush. I'd given it an A- too. Even though it's not doing so hot in US, it's still solid, and OS will make up for it.I'm not big on Don Jon, thought it was...okay.
