Thor 2 is a sequel so frontloading is expected, which is why big openings are so important for sequels. I really wanted 90M OW.

32m is basically rounding 31.5 up.

Taking high end of 32, and even adding an extra million to make it 33, that means a true Friday of 26M. Now, if it plays like a family film and basically has a 3X multiplier from the 26M, that would be 78M. Adding the 7M back in would be 85M weekend.

 

Of course, this is assuming it plays like a family film, so 85M seems to be the high end.
