I'm gonna go by that 15 year old definition of a blockbuster that 100m gross = blockbuster to give me a chance to actually think up 10 movies.

4. The Great Gatsby

5. Captain Phillips

6. Iron Man 3

7. The Conjuring

Wait, RIPD is better than MOS? I haven't watched the movie yet but that's harsh.Hmm, 100M and above budget = blockbusters make sense. I should change my list then.

I guess there two definitions of blockbuster. One is a movie that lots of people saw and the other is a movie that cost a lot of money. I prefer to use the former as a definition because it's the one that actually makes sense.

I used a combination of the two in that it was, "Movies that were trying to be big blockbusters/popcorn flicks", so even though Captain Phillips made over 100m I didn't count it as a blockbuster.

I'll consider 100 million pictures as Blockbusters ...

1) This is the End

2) Pacific Rim

3) Man of Steel

4) Catching Fire

5) The Wolverine

6) Now You See Me

7) Fast and Furious 6

8) The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

9) Star Trek Into Darkness

10) Despicable Me 2

God, this looks horrible, but it's stuff over 100 million.

I'm personally defining a blockbuster as a film that has an over $100 mil budget, since there are plenty of films that have made over $100 mil that I wouldn't class as a 'blockbuster'. The only exception on my list is Cloudy 2.

1. Pacific Rim

2. Django Unchained

3. Gravity

4. Iron Man 3

5. World War Z

6. Thor: The Dark World

7. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2

8. Frozen

9. Hunger Games: Catching Fire

10. Star Trek Into Darkness

4) Catching Fire

5) We're The Millers

6) Captain Phillips
