Tuesday Numbers - WOWS 1.95M, Frozen 1.9M(300M!), DOS 1.57M,

Not taking away from Wolf :P, but it's no longer Christmas and most kids are back in school while quite a few colleges are still out and that is a big part of Wolf's audience atm.

I understand all of that.  I'm just simply saying that it's cool to see it number one, finally after 14 days of release.

Today should be the day Catching Fire passes The Hunger Games.

First series to gross more than 350m then improve with the sequel.  B)

And the records keep fallin' while Catching Fire keeps burnin'

Maybe no one gives a shit about Hellboy anymore.

Maybe you should SHUT UP!*

*Note - Coolio wished to find a clip or a gif of Tom Hanks saying this in Saving Private Ryan but the internet failed him just like it always does.

Holy fuck, first DOS, now Hellboy.

Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?  :P

Hellboy 2 was an abomination of a movie.

how exactly does box office mojo estimate ticket sales..?

Cause right now it looks like this:

THG50,838,300

CF 52,088,400

yet it also says that average ticket prices slightly higher this year so you'd think they'd still be around roughly the same? Maybe CF slightly lower? Yet that's a significant amount higher then THG was

You can throw out that crap about hd tv's, Netflix and streaming right out the katniss train. Anyone who waited 6-8 months to finally see a movie most likely had no intention whatsoever to watch it in theaters. That's not lost business because it was no business to begin with.

Back 10 years ago the only way to see a movie was pretty much in theaters. Now with technology you can come pretty close to the movie theater experience in your own home if you wait 6 months. That's why movies had longer legs and were more attended. Now there's many more high quality options, which is why movie attendance is lower. That's the point he's making.
