If I wanted my vote to actually matter, I would have picked Her, but I stuck with my #1 (of the options) pick.

Supporting actress was a fucking difficult pick. All great performances. I went with ScarJo for originality

I picked Before Midnight for BP. If we had to rank them I would've put Gravity #2, Inside Llewyn Davis #3, Wolf #4 and Short Term 12 #5. I still haven't seen Her.

Captain Phillips was probably my least favorite of the BP nominees, and it's still really damn great. Just an amazing year all around.

I'm watching Captain Phillips tonight, but I'm not eloquent enough for a write up. It'd probably be TOM HANKS TOM HANKS TOM HANKS repeatedly in caps.

 

Going to watch the Creighton game at a bar at 5 EST, so hopefully the awards don't take more than an hour and a half!
