So overall box office for the day was about $6.2m? How did holdovers compare with last Thursday?

I don't see how it only makes 22m after this to be quite honest. Definitely going for 40m.

OW should be about the same as Avengers.But even though both opened on Wednesday, the holiday was on thursday this year which boosts the OW. Today will tell us whether its going to continue as well as Avengers or fall off a bit.

Today should be bigger then TA's on the Friday last year.  A lot of people will also have today off work.

The OW should beat TA as parts of the country are in school holidays.I'm not too sure if this was the case last year, but regardless, it looks to be beating it

Nice . Opening should in the 14 to 15m ow. 18 if u include Wednesday. That's just under avengers. Impressive. 30m looks to be locked. 40m is likely. 50m would take something special.

It appears overall we're looking at a minimum 25% increase on IM2.Insane, I know. Edited April 26, 2013 by Robertron of Oz
