That headline is extremely misleading... furthermore, there's no reason why Cameron couldn't film in multiple locations. I think it's highly likely he'll shoot both in NZ and Manattan Beach.

Agree, very bad title, especially the ocean part not even close.

I'd like to see the Avatar sequels as soon as anyone, but this is way cooler and more important than a movie.

Besides, he's just part of the company, it's not like his ass is going up in space.

You have to realize that one a box office forum many people view things differently. I don't agree at all.

Agree.Asteroids / planetary mining is the way to go for humans.Less and less resources on earth.

Not to mention as soon as one company shows there's serious money to be made, it could spark a boom for space exploration/development, which is what we need since governments are more and more reluctant to spend the money.

People need to get out of earth. Not sure if this will happen in my life.People say what ? "dont put all your eggs in one basket". Just imagine if a BIG Asteroid hitting Earth, all lifes on this planet could be doomed. However, Extreme Environmentalism and Anti-intellectualism are killing humans on this planet. They are afraid of something would happen (which in fact wont). And people just slowed down many necessary scientific and technology researchs, like aerospace technologies.Resources are everywhere in the Universe if only we can get out of Earth.
