Spielberg has a blockbuster coming out in Christmas 2017, there s no way he would have agreed on that release date with Avatar 2 coming out.

So yeah, 2018.

The article still says 2017.

Mocap productions are a weird process, you can't really use conventional production schedules for them. They might still be on track for a Dec '17 release.

He got fired from this one and got his Terminator nightmare in Italy, sick as a dog, trying to sabotage(salvage) the movie in the editing room.

 

The main problem of Avatar are the Na'vi, are the Na'vi cool, do people like them, care about them ?
