Take it to the bet thread if we already don't have an Avatar 2/AoU bet. BTW its a WW game, meaning DOM, OS and WW so we talk about them all here. You are assuming AoU will go up and I have it going up also but also can go down. The thing with Avatar 2 it would have to drop considerably more for AoU to have a shot.

Well, things happen much faster now because many franchises operate in a very competitive environment and Marvel certianly leads with 24-7 marketing. So their movies cnanot be forgotten about even if you try for reminders are everywhere.

 

OTOH, Avatar sequels are yet to pick up marketing push, but it's sensible to assume that due to no new information interest decreased at least on the surface.

It's also pointless to compare a movie with no release date to a movie that is advertised 24-7 due to tie-in movies. of course that the latter will be tlaked about 24-7.

 

This, a movie with no release date that probably won't be made for a few years has 130 pages here. Seems like folks are interested to me

Cameron has set War of the Worlds scribe Josh Friedman to write one film; Rise Of Planet Of The Apes‘ Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver to write another; with the third to be written by Shane Salerno, who wrote and directed the upcoming documentary Salinger and who previously worked with Cameron on a remake ofFantastic Voyage at Fox. The writers will collaborate with Cameron separately and co-write three separate movies with him.
