It's actually a low budget comedy about a big budget production gone wrong called UNTITLED EVENT PROJECT.

I predicted 65-75 OW and 230-250m domestic.  It beat my OW prediction by a lot but its gonna fall short of my total prediction.

 

Godzilla 98 adjusts to 231m without 3D ticket prices.  Godzilla 2014 selling noticeably less tickets than that massive toilet clogger is not good any way you slice it kiddo.

Ill tell u why. Because the box office has behaved. The same way on this weekend since about 1985. Somehow I dont see it changing now.

Disasters have a way of breaking formulaic patterns my friend.. Your still ignoring that Godzilla is doing way more business OS than the 98 fiasco..lol Also definitely liked better by GA.. Xmen is just  a very big film and if your going to film in the storms its likely going to be a moviegoers first choice..  As long as we crush your Kong  and quite a few of those disaster flicks tallys overall.

 

Im very happy . Though hoped we could get to that 900+M WW hump as mojo was predicting as a 15% chance for Godzilla.

Oh thought you were a naysayer . Its could still reach 230M Ozy.. Your wrong there .  Godzilla also rode  the hype of  from the makers of ID4,..  Ithink  that was a good 3D equalizer.. Its funny Baum and  others are also forgetting the advertising budget was  bigger than even Godzilla of today..LOL.

 

 

Except this godzillXmena is going to make alot more profit and Sony's tanked... Also ignoring the storms on the East side and flooding and that Xmen has major star power and the teamup thing going..Put most movies against it well received or not..The results would be the same. Xmen coming out way on top.

I'm actually looking forward to that show. It seems the best way to approach that character

Especially Team up movies.. You can bet if this was a regular xmen film, the results would be far different is what Im saying.

Baumer once said he doesnt see how Godzilla makes 80-100M Ow , so I think alot of things are happening that differ from this period since 1985..lol Films in 1985 werent making nearly 300M and 700M WW during an april  month... Cap 2 did just that. 

 

Neither were SH films the go to films for BO might in 1985.   So i expect alot more weirdness to happen at the box office this year and the years to come. You can make assumptions based on patterns and statistics  of old Baumer and Ozy, but they are not written in stone. Your going to see alot of changes at the box office  in the years to come. The Juggernaut, the OW of Avengers and Batman and Superman aND JLA will be amongst them.  I also hear folks saying Cap 3 and Batman and Superman wont make big numbers if they go head to head..

 

We will see on that one wont we.

Oh they got the epic fandom of Sir ian McKellan(LOTR and Xmen) , Startreks  Patrick Stewart and Xmen legend is also back, the start power of the epic Hungergame, Fassbenger , Makovoy, Halle etc. This is no mere Xmen movie its something else entirely. The proof will be this xmen will outgross the rancid X3  WW and maybe domestically!

I found another reason to dislike David Goyer that goes beyond him being a terrible writer
