[They embrace on stage and people clap.] Acting is a timeless art and this year we have had brilliant performances on screen, from stand-outs and upstaging performances to seemless parts of colossal ensembles. In light of Numbers' first win this year:

NUMBERS:

Look at you as fresh as a tomato,

Still a little sappling, just a sprout,

You know why we play this online game show,

That’s right, to keep you writing out, yes,

Guess I knew this day was always coming,

Knew that soon you’d want to beat the rest.

Soon, but not yet. Shhh, trust me pet,

Numbers knows best!

Numbers knows best,

Listen to this winner,

It’s tricky to write plots with flair,

Numbers knows best,

One way or another,

You’ll mess something up, I swear!

Bloodbath Unite!

Thomas The Tank Engine,

Leimotif, and Horror House

(No!) Yes!

Also Worlds Apart,

Khanera: Land of Dreams, and

Stop! No more! You’ll just upset me!

Numbers’ right here,

Numbers’ here to help you,

Darling here’s what I suggest!

Just write longer, do not flauner,

Numbers knows best!

Numbers knows best,

Take it from the master,

On your own, you won’t survive,

Super short plots, laughable dialogue,

Please, they’ll eat you up alive!

Simplistic and chliche,

Positively boring,

Ditsy and a bit, well, vauge.

Plus I believe, getting kind of lazy,

Maybe I’m just going crazy!

Numbers understands!

Numbers wants to help you!

All I have I one request!

DON’T EVER WIN ADAPTED SCRENPLAY FROM ME.

Don’t forget it.

You’ll regret it.

Numbers knows best.

Looks like there's a distinct possibility The Giver may end up taking Best Picture and nothing else. I think, to the best of my memory, Best Director is the only remaining category where it may have a chance.

And congrats Numbers

You know Spaghetti I'm pretty sure if I was ever in an animated musical I wouldn't be the possessive fake old mother.

I'd probably be the guard who gets trampled by the super smart horse.
