There is a Hannibal show? That's news to me! :wtf:

Yeah, and it's created by Bryan Fuller, the guy that created Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, and Pushing Daisies. Some of the best shows ever.

It's supposed to be crazy good, but I'm waiting until it hits about four seasons before I get started on it.

Ah, let me guess... you have been badly burned with your favorite shows getting cancelled?

Comedy

Arrested Development - Hands down one of the most incredibly written and hilarious shows of all time.  I'd say skip the belated fourth season and just stick with the first 3.  I have watched through the series once a year since 2007 and I am still finding stuff I didn't catch before.  It is FUCKING DENSE with jokes and call backs and foreshadowing.

Louie - fucking amazing series from the brilliant mind of Louie CK

Archer - animated series on FX that is one of the funniest things on TV currently

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - It's similar to Seinfeld in that the characters on the show are assholes and there is no point to the show, but it's on FX so they can do and say much, much, much worse things.  Charlie Day is always amazing.  I haven't kept up with the last couple of seasons, but when it's good, its fucking hilarious and so very wrong.

Better Off Ted - Little gem of a show that didn't last long, but has some great characters and some really funny episodes.  Only 26 total episodes so it wouldn't take you long to burn through them.

Louie is one of the most overrated shows i've ever seen. it's ok if you're not expecting a comedy though.
