Thursday Numbers (RTH) HTTYD2 3.1,22J 2.9,Malef/TLAM2 1.7 | actuals on p19

Recommended Posts

Regarding the derailment of threads, quite a while ago I made a suggestion, though I never bothered to check if a mod followed up on it.Anyway, I suggested a pinned numbers thread. One that is there purely for reference purposes. If Rth or Spatula post numbers in the main thread, a mod posts them here. If ERC or Deadline post numbers, they go here as well. The same goes for BOM's daily and weekend estimates and actuals. No discussion would be allowed in this thread. Numbers only. People can come to this thread, get the numbers and then head over to the main daily thread.

I'd love this.

I had the same idea Wade. Hopefully Water Bottle and crew will make it happen.

We're discussing this and other options.

Suddenly forum traffic drops 75% lol.  We have a classic conversation thread, but most of our users never venture out anywhere besides the Box Office Discussion subforum. I feel like this move would just decrease activity a lot, or maybe movie threads will ge derailed instead.

Well this is a box office forum and people do come to find the daily numbers posted somewhere. There can be a numbers discussion thread and a sticky thread for the actual numbers. That way people who are to find the numbers can actually see them posted.

Maleficent back up to #3!

Left for dead, Dragon 2 is rising like a Phoenix from the ashes.

Looks like Xmen and EOT got the brunt of T4's opening last night.

Dragon2 is still losing ground to Madagascar 3

Dragon2 is still behind Panda2 after 15 days in cinemas

Well, the daily threads, with the usual derailments, would still exist. But there would be a pinned, announcement only thread, with just the numbers, for easy access.

Yeah, but they didn't do too badly. Week-to-week is damn good for DofP. And with a not bad theater count drop, it should recover.
