2spooky4u
They just revamped all of the social media accounts, and on the Twitter bio, it states the release date is now September 16. That weekend was pretty full(Everest, Black Mass), so it's probably a good idea to come out ahead. https://twitter.com/MazeRunnerMovie

I hate Wednesday's opening.
antovolk
Looks like it. Still confused over 3D - no official word from FOX on this? Also same for IMAX - no mention of the film in their slate on their site or on the conference call today Edited April 30, 2015 by antovolk

Also same for IMAX - no mention of the film in their slate on their site or on the conference call today[/quote It's not releasing in 3D or Imax. I think fox decided to cancel 3d releases for most of their films this year looking at how Kingsman did without 3d. Plus it costs 15-20 million for a good post conversion. Only Poltergeist, Peanuts and The Martian will be released in 3D.

babz06
where is the trailer for this? I thought Fox would have wanted it with Avengers or Mad Max.
marveldcfox
where is the trailer for this? I thought Fox would have wanted it with Avengers or Mad Max. Ideally, should be out the week of May 10th (attached to Mad Max {wb} ) , but I think Fox will wait till the week of May 17th (attached to Poltergeist {fox} ). The same trailer will be attached to maybe San Andreas (wb) and definitely Spy (fox)
antovolk
James Dashner confirmed that the trailer is coming this month. So Mad Max/Pitch Perfect or Poltergeist/Tomorrowland?

Klingo
First movie was nice and entertaining but it had that damn chosen ones trope at the end ... Its just like in the series. Have a reason why they are who they are in that situation.
CJohn
James Dashner confirmed that the trailer is coming this month. So Mad Max/Pitch Perfect or Poltergeist/Tomorrowland? The Mad Max/Pitch Perfect makes sense. The movie appeals to both young woman and young men. Edited May 2, 2015 by CJohn
