From what I remember, yes: pretty similar to that. The "Detached" scene is also a straight lift from the movie, I think.

WAIT, there's a third astronaut???? I know Sanda and George have the only live speaking roles, but theres a 3rd one? And wow I just watched detached on Youtube...so chilling and perfect. THIS-MUST-BREAK-OUT.

I'm going to avoid the forums pretty much the week this opens, because I can't see it until second weekend- well, I could see it first weekend, but my dad says we're going to see it in IMAX together the second weekend, and I'm willing to wait for the upgrade. :P

Prerelease tracking suggests that Alfonso Cuaron's 3D space epic will gross between $35 million and $40 million in its domestic launch, although Warner Bros. is trying to keep expectations in check by saying it would be happy with anything above $30 million.
According to those with access to prerelease tracking, Gravity is pacing well across all age groups. Males over the age of 25 are expressing the most interest. Females under 25 are virtually tied with females over 25 in terms of interest, followed by males under the age of 25.

I figured, what the hell, I might as well do a sneaks/midnights sellout count for LA.

A week away from release, GRAVITY is at 0 / 72. I'm not really expecting a huge amount, so it'll be interesting to track compared to more fanboy-driven films (especially since, like GDT, Cuaron has a small camp of diehard fans).

It almost reminds be of TSN, in that it should draw in both "fanboys" and quality-seekers.
