Gravity | Re-released on 2D and 3D January 17 | IMAX 3D on January 31! | 100M+ WW IMAX

Would be very interesting if this wins Best Visual Effects at the Oscars, because the budget for Gravity is only 80m, and the last time a movie with a less than 100m budget winning that award is The Matrix from 14 years ago.

And of cause, this looks like it had the award in its bag already.

I don't think the budget is lesser than 100M. It should be in the range of 120-150.

I love Cuaron but I d take classic storytelling over gimmick ...

He ll never top Children of Men anyway.

Now that you mention this, I can totally see GRAVITY as being the kind of film that, not unlike AVATAR, gets awesome accolades and raves at first, and then starts getting lots of hatred over being "style over substance." Not that I agree with those assessments, just saying that I can definitely imagine this happening.

I think I've fallen in love again with Sandra Bullock 19 years after Speed.

She can whisper me dirty words in german while making out on a swedish piece of furniture whenever she wants.

Thats too specific to not be a movie reference.

Like for the first part. But I refrain thinking of the second part...for now

This is the ONE movie that I WON'T let myself get hyped (again) and will keep my expectations low, so I don't get disappointed.

Please please please tell me you're not supporting this movie.
