Blackout
This weekend makes me wonder how Power Rangers will do. Also, will Hollywood be tempted into doing a Thundercats movie. Seems like a no-brainer considering Thundercats has a concept similar to Avatar and the nostalgia of Transformers. Power Rangers could do really well, if marketed well enough. There's a big nostalgia factor and they haven't been relevant in a long time, could make audiences curious.
grim22
I guess there is just one thing to say about the Friday performance of Turtles Edited August 9, 2014 by grim22
baumer
Boxoffice projecting only TMNT 62m and GOTG 40m 25.6 mill to 65 does seem a bit much. 25.6 22 (10% bump minus previews) 17.2 (22% decline) That gets it to about 65....it is possible. grey ghost
August is exciting ! I wonder if TMNT could crawl past $200M. Why would the legs be that good. It's a fanboy movie with crappy reviews.

I think having alot of young fans helped out TMNT plenty.

grey ghost
I still can't understand why Hollywood would try to "adapt" Battleship when they have Power Rangers, Thundercats and He-Man sitting around unused.
