AniNate
I'm most curious about St. Vincent's drop. Has potential to be one of the most shocking breakouts since MBFGW.
filmnerdjamie
Never thought Horrible Bosses 2 stood much chance to do well anyway. A sequel to a generally well-liked film... that nobody was asking for.
zackzack
Neighbours, Ride Along and 22 Jump Street were quite hilarious Seriously? The one funny thing in Neighbors is The only thing funny in 22 JS is the end credit Ride Along is OK, mildly funny but it is more consistent than both movies Edited November 15, 2014 by zackzack
Wrath
Whiplash was really good, though I'd spent a week listening to people tell me how amazing it was so it may have suffered slightly from high expectations. Theater was at most 1/4 full, sadly.

The one funny thing in Neighbors is The only thing funny in 22 JS is the end credit Ride Along is OK, mildly funny but it is more consistent than both movies Jenko laughing at Ice Cube's character during the "you know what" scene made me bust out into laughter. Its self-referential nature was fairly amusing as well. But I agree that it wasn't LOL funny the way an all-time great comedy is.

Jessie
Does anyone think that the success of D&D could put some breaks on Horrible Bosses 2's B.O potential? The marketplace isn't going to be void of comedies. The good thing for HB2 is that it's R while D&D is PG-13. Then there's the question of how the forums and general movie world will react "Horrible Bosses (ONLY) opened to 25M (3-day) while Dumb and Dumber just did 37! FLOP!" You speak as if the GA can only handle 1 comedy a month

Dementeleus
No updates yet? Looks like INTERSTELLAR might be under 7 now.
mahnamahna
You speak as if the GA can only handle 1 comedy a month Well, there's also Top Five and The Interview. Dumb and Dumber To has broken out, Top Five is getting raves and will also draw in the highly neglected urban audiences. The Interview has the Kim Jong Un controversy. Horrible Bosses 2 could definitely get lost in the shuffle and settle for $70-80 million DOM. The first film wasn't a universally beloved phenom like The Hangover. I know but im just saying if Horrible Bosses flops, it won't be because of stiff competition, it will be like you said because it wasn't universally loved in the first place.
TalismanRing
Looks like INTERSTELLAR might be under 7 now. Is this an actual update or are you trying to drive Ed over the edge?
