I’ll never understand people who love the trilogy but think Crystal Skull is Spielberg at his worst. Don’t even try to explain it to me; I won’t accept a list of plot holes and implausibilities as legitimate criticism.

Also, Spielberg is not among my favorites since half of his output is not very good, but he’s such a fantastic technician and it makes me pretty sad when he chooses stuff like BFG and RPO as his blockbuster vehicles. Current movie landscape is in a dire need of better class of blockbusters.
