you're all making me want to see [all is lost]. stripped narratives work great when combined with a pure aesthetic - [a man escaped] is the best example of this.

Haven't seen All is Lost, but I also think Gravity is really overrated. Visually it's a masterpiece, but the characters and some of the dialogue is not that great IMO.

2. Interstellar

Does Christopher Nolan deliver with this one? Hell yes he does. From the very begening I fell in love with this movies, I loved all of the characters that we got to know in the begenning of this movie. There were some surpringly humerous moments throughout this film.  The stroy is so grand and wildly ambitous it's absurd. This movie has grand action spectale and also takes the time to break your heart as well. Matt Damon is Matt Damon (that's some pretty high praise right there) The ending of this movie is just... Wow... Me and my friends that I saw this with, evertime we go somewhere or do something since that day we end up talking about Interstellr.
