Hope we didn't peak with this. Still need the expected tentpoles to deliver.

 

 

Even if TA2 falls from TA, it will be beat the biggest film from 2014 in ten days max (unless American sniper goes over MJ) 

 

 

2015 is a year where the films are so wide appealing even if they disappoint, they will make a lot of money.

2014 was great till summer rolled around. Then the worst July in a decade happened and it just stayed bad all the way through Christmas.

 

 

2014 was only saved by  the quality of the big releases. 

 

 

The issue was those films just did not appeal to super wide.

They've put 155.7m for Interstellar for the weekend, which is 30m less than what it actually has, so on the 2015 chart it's listed as -23.6m, even though it made a bit over 5m this year.

 

But aren't those figures just up to this weekend and does not include INTERSTELLAR?

Hmm. Actually August and October 2014 are record months. The months that failed were those before August.
