Weekend Actual #'s | Furious 7 outperforms estimates -- $147.2m actuals!

Recommended Posts

FF6 did $19 million the Monday following it's opening weekend. I'm guessing once Monday's numbers come in, FF7 will be 2015 #1 movie, surpassing Cinderella.

FF6's first Monday was Memorial day.

FF6's first Monday was Memorial day.

Props C-John.  You got it right.

Thats what I was saying for Sunday and that outliers exist and that everything can't be guided by past numbers.

You were right. Kudos!

LOL Cinderella enjoyed the shortest stint at #1 ever.

I didn't realize it surpassed 50 shades and spongebob this weekend.

Don't be messy.

Fantastic opening for Furious 7. I still need to see it, but I'm glad it's doing so well. :)

Also, LOL at the Get Hard number. Talk about a blown call.

EDIT: It's last week's number. That makes a lot more sense.

No. Every WB movie is wrong and all have the numbers from the previous weekend.

That explains it but they shouldn't use the numbers from last week. That throws all of the calculations off.

WW opening weekends are stupid. The staggered markets make comparisons between movies basically useless.

Now, if they did aggregate openings in all markets, that would be something that could be useful.

Thats the problem, avengers didn't got all it's marked in it's OW. Than they should be added too.

I think it would be interesting if they would just count all the opening day of all the countrys and count them up and give that number. Just to see how huge it opend and how good it legs were.

Agreed.   Not much use to compare OW in certain countries vs 2nd and 3rd weekends.
