The Regency Plant! But tickets are cheap there... even with all those shows, I doubt it equals the typical top-grossers of SoCal.

If Fast 6 had been the only new movie the weekend it opened, and didn't have to compete with The Hangover 3, how much higher (than $97M) would it's opening numbers be? 

 

Personally, I think it would've done $110M.

Not even close. Worse multiplier than Godzilla.

As if Godzilla is the standard for bad multipliers. It easily doubled it's opening, 2.15 multiplier.

 

The films with the worst legs are those that don't double their OW. 50 Shades, Cloverfield, Watchmen etc.

That's our problem.  We have pretty solid attendance, but our tickets are really fucking cheap.

Another reason why Furious 7 has wide spread appeal since is its actually diverse, and it doesn't seem forced. Avengers so far are all usually white characters. 

 

Time actually had an article about it being the main contributing factor to Furious 7 being a massive hit.
