Nearly a 60% drop, slightly harder than it probably should be given it played well over the weekend.  But I'm not overly surprised.

It's opening w/e audience skewed older with the majority over 35 and that was born out with higher than usual weekdays.  It pointed toward a lower Fri jump.

Those numbers for Mad Max aren't bad at all. The reviews and WOM really counterbalanced the fanboy rush factor IMO.

And Poltergeist, well it probably won't hold too well, but interest was definitly there.
