Spillover could help it beat TDKs Monday and Tuesday grosses, unfucking believable.

$30m Monday is very much in play. Would not only beat TDK's record for non-holidays but would beat the July 4th inflated Monday of Spider-Man 2 to become the biggest Monday ever regardless of holidays. That said, inflation is helping it quite a bit compared to films like Spidey 2 or others from the past. But still $30m on a non-holiday Monday is fucking incredible.

So I'm guessing that any sequel will probably drop. Not trying to be pessimistic, but where could they go from there? Plus I think part of what made this opening happen was the nostalgia of finally returning.

Goldblum, Neill, Dern, and the kids from the first one back. You can have the two Hammonds inheriting InGen and them bringing in the other three as specialists.

Yeah, I am not gonna be able to read all this, but we hit 6,692 in total attendance.

5,015 of that was Jurassic World.

I'm fucking exhausted.

How many admissions for JW Friday sans previews?

I get what you're saying but given the pattern we were seeing, it was really, really unlikely. When a movie's first number is 65 (by the trades), gets revised by Rth to 67-71, gets revised *again* to 71-74, etc then there's a very clear trend. Part of this is because Rth is actually a pretty conservative guy, he doesn't throw out wild numbers in the hopes that the movie might reach that total. There are rare cases where something like presales throw projections out of wack (like AOU), but that was a moot point with JW because its presales weren't anywhere near AOU. You can't just throw around "oh, it had just as good a chance of going down as up".... well, you can, I guess, but most everyone is gonna dismiss your comment outright.

Why are you talking rationally to water?  He doesn't deserve rational.  Just be Nic Cage in laughing mode.  That's more his speed.

With the gigantic domestic number, we don't need no stinking $1B OS

to get to the $1B WW Promised Land

I'm done and going back to bed

FF7  made $1,510 WW ....

And Jurassic World need to make a lot of money overseas to get close to it, domestic box office is not strong enough to do JW beat FF7...

Screw the kids. They are the one flaw in an otherwise classic movie.

They're adults now... lol. And that's honestly the only way I can see the other three returning for reasons that make sense story-wise.
