Well, this movie just made $500+ million in its first weekend globally, so anything is possible now.

It will.  Look at what the Proposal did.  It too dropped abotu 45% in it's second weekend when it went up against Transformers 2.  But both have excellent WOM and it will probably drop in the low 30's next weekend.
