Bettman needs to go.  Strike and lockouts in sports are dumb all does hurt the sport. Look at MLB lockout in 1994. Imagine if Directors and actors would have joined the writers strike a couple years ago and it last a whole year. It would have done huge damaged to the film industry. 

 

Problem is, we as fans hate Count Dracula, but the owners love him.  He is making them a lot of money and he signed a sweet deal that states that in order to be removed 75% of the owners have to be in favour of his dismissal.  Not going to happen.

Doesn't work like that.  We don't open a Monday numbers thread based on an amount that MIGHT be achieved.

I just hope he steps down. At least he can put a team in Quebec before he goes but that never going to happen with unbalance conference.

Watching JP2. Julianne Moore's character is horrible. She's the entire reason everything goes to shit in that movie, lol. You kidnapped a baby T-Rex. What the hell do you think is gonna happen...

 

Since you brought up The Lost World, I think that it is a bit underrated.  There are a lot of things that go wrong in that one (most famously a teenage girl taking down a raptor).  But Spielberg saves the movie IMO.  There were three set pieces that were fantastic and shows how masterful he is with suspense.  The trailer hanging over the cliff while the 2 T-Rex come in and attack (Love the shot of the T-Rex walking through trees-you don't actually see them-just the suspense of the eartch shaking and the trees moving).  Also, the campground scene and then the raptors attack in the long grass.  Spielberg made that movie so much better than what it should've been.

I enjoy the movie overall, just don't like Moore's character.
