MovieMan89
And to think there are people defending the idea if a making a sequel to an unsuccessful movie like Pacific Rim These sequels wouldn't exist if not for OS. They end up profitable no matter how hard they bomb DOM. Edited June 28, 2015 by MovieMan89
John Marston
These sequels wouldn't exist if not for OS. They end up profitable no matter how hard they bomb DOM. Yeah. Even the Snow White sequel has the excuse of adding 3D when the first was 2D only
MovieMan89
Physically fit people are much more likely to be found attractive than the flabby. Not entirely true. While that is at least the media "ideal", plenty of people have their own taste as to what they're attracted to. Eye of the beholder.
filmlover
Darn, that Jessica Chastain song is growing on me. Now I'll be humming it all day. It really is a gem, isn't it? "I am not Jessica Chastain/I am Bryce Dallas Fucking Howard, hear me roar!"

BadAtGender
Speaking of Spielberg/Lucas, Mr. Trevorrow is having one of the most successful directorial breakouts since the two of them. If we're looking at the percentage jump from a director's first to second movie, it's impressive. Whedon made a nice jump from Serenity to Avengers, too. Gareth Edwards' jump from Monsters to Godzilla is pretty huge, too. And he could see another big jump with his next film.

Jack Nevada
To be clear, I'm not saying 2015 Chris Pratt is like a Clint Howard or something.
grey ghost
People vs. George Lucas is hilarious. Nerd rage!!!! Han shot first! Who gives a fuck? haha Abrams probably watched that every morning to motivate himself. And George Lucas might've sold Star Wars after seeing it. redfirebird2008
The point about Lucas hypocrisy on changing old black and white films is pretty good. Wonder what made him change his position so drastically on this issue. Also good point about the VFX artists who won an Oscar for the original movie and Lucas replaced it with CGI. Pretty disrespectful of their work.

Wonder what made him change his position so drastically on this issue. Also good point about the VFX artists who won an Oscar for the original movie and Lucas replaced it with CGI. Pretty disrespectful of their work. For someone so incredibly successful Lucas sure is a stupid hack. He must have sold his soul or something. How 6 such terrible movies have done so well and seem so compelling is a mystery. Edited June 28, 2015 by GirafficPark
Dementeleus
It fundamentally alters the character, and moreover...oh wait I don't give a fuck either. Nvm. One basic difference is that Lucas is the writer/director/creator. That wasn't the case for any of the older colorized efforts.

grey ghost
I wonder if the rumors are true and Abrams is going to have a Jar Jar death scene in SW7. Could be as self aware and tacky as the "I'm Juggernaut bitch" scene in X3.
