GiantCALBears
JW and IO at low-mid 50s really shows how bad a low-mid-30s opening for Ted 2 is. The market was fully capable of hosting a successful comedy, but nobody was interested in this one. 35m isn't nothing, small market did support it. Asyulus
All depends on that second trailer. Could decrease on OW too though. I actually think MI5 and Spectre will have very similar OWs, low 80s Domestic wise, MI5 and Spectre would be very close, with Spectre barely above it. Dementeleus
The characters are terrific in Transformers. Anyone who doesn't understand that has my permission to see the film again. I choose... exile.

Tubes
All depends on that second trailer. Could decrease on OW too though. I actually think MI5 and Spectre will have very similar OWs, low 80s The Craig Bond films haven't had the same level of superwide rollouts compared to the competition that the Brosnan films had. I wonder if Spectre bucks the trend and opens with 3700-3800 theaters instead of the usual 3400-3500.
Dementeleus
We had some epic work conversations on that Dr. Berman show. And network notes were amazing.

Tubes
Sidenote: I really hate it when CGI characters disappear through the camera. That and unrealistic camera movement are my only real peeves with modern effects.
grey ghost
Max opens this weekend? Such a quiet opening. I guess it didn't tap into the American Sniper audience.

baumer
The first episode was trying too hard to be deep and meaningful and thematic. Also Farrell and Vaughn (and McAdams and Kitsch) are no Harrelson and McConaughey. I thought the first episode was pretty awesome.
Fancyarcher
Max is all about the dog not war and patriotism. I haven't seen it, but a review I watched of it, described it as The Marine with a dog. Edited June 28, 2015 by Insidearcher
