Really nice for MI5, wondering if it has a shot winning next weekend if it increases and SOC drops a bit and all the new openers tank.

No, because War Room will likely expand its theater count, since next weekend has nothing. If it does $11-12 million this weekend, it should do something similar next week due to the Labor Day holiday and some theater expansion (going up from 1,106 isn't exactly crazy, but 553 would double the theater count)

I think War Room or Compton will win. MI5 should sadly enough be good for 3rd with $6-6.5 million over the 3 day.

Not only summer. It's the whole year. AMERICAN SNIPER has saved them.

San Andeas was a nice sized hit, Get Hard did fine, Focus did OK and Mad Max did well enough to be a launching pad but everything else for them has been

WB is having a solid year, not their best summer but they are not far off Disney who expected to dominate the year, but it turned out to be Universal destroying everyone. WB is the most consistent and successful studio the past decade. They will battle for the top spot next year.

No just a $175m one in Jupiter Ascending and a whole bunch of other money losers  - UNCLE, Entourage, Hot Pursuit, Run All Night

Remind me when February became summer? Talking about the summer box office here...

WB has had a shit year so far. Lets not forget Mad Max is considering a flop by every THR or Variety of this world. Their only hit was San Andreas. I guess Focus did good enough. Get Hard OS was non-existent so the results ended up being nothing special.
