Casino Royale and Happy Feet opened on the same weekend. CR got 4x and Happy Feet 4.77x.

If Peanuts gets 4.77x with a 50m ow, it'll reach 238.5m.

To match it with a 70-75m ow, Specter will need to do 3.2-3.4x.

Maybe 4.77x is too big these days even for animations in November (WiR - 3.86x, BH6 - 3.96x), but 210m (4.2x) could happen for Peanuts and sub 3x for Specter.

If a franchise movie comes out the first people who go to the cinema are the fans, so the CS will be good unless the film is garbage.

How would you know if a movie wasn't A+ or C, if CinemaScore is useless?

I believe it's five theaters, mainly in the western US. In any case, it's an absurdly small sample size and (for bigger movies) self-selects diehard fans.

Imdb is better if i want to know how a movie is liked. Although it needs time to stabilize.
