Ezen Baklattan
As much as it pains me to admit it, Jurassic World's numbers are still more mind blowing to me. Most people were expecting a domestic total of what it did in its opening week, and we all knew SW7 was going to be ginormous. I've also never seen a blockbuster with such polarizing opinions before, so its success with general audiences is all the more impressive.

It doubled some of the OW tracking data and then had even better legs than Avengers.

JW's opening weekend is the most shocking opener i have ever seen. Blind sided by a tidal wave.

JW came out of nowhere... plenty of people predicted SW to be huge before it opened.

I still think SW7 numbers are more mind-blowing but I agree with you that it can't beat the WTF degree of JW opening. At the beginning of the year it's always AOU vs SW7 for the crown of 2015 BO greatness. JW wasn't even tracking above Spectre or Minions..
