What's the biggest non holiday "2nd Monday"? Not sure how to look that up. Any help?

Shrek 2 did $23,4 M on a 2nd Monday, but that was a holiday.

non-holiday I think is Avatar on December 28th 2009 with $19m

Either way, Star Wars will crush those numbers.

I think the people that rip studios for fudging should be in here applauding Disney for their amazing integrity during a time they could be fudging to reach some milestones. ;)

It seems that when studios fudge people are angry. Now when Disney doesn't fudge, people are angry.  Lol

I'm going to assume most of this crumbling talk is sarcasm... A 30+ million Monday would STILL be higher than the single biggest Monday of all time that was held by Spider Man 2 for 12 years. ( 27.6 M) there were people saying it wouldn't beat that LAST Monday. Now it's going to beat it 2 Monday's in a row. That's pretty amazing.

It'll be three times after next weekend.*

*probably

Is January 4th a holiday this year? Or do most people have the day off or something? Otherwise I'd see a pretty huge drop as being probable.

Right?

"It might be a stretch, but that's never stopped fans before."

Understatement of the year?

That's ridiculous. That bit where Han says "it's true, all of it" and Finn responds "even the prequels?"  was clearly a cleverly veiled dig at Lucas though.

That was subtle, though. But when Chewie was stabbing that tiny Lucas doll with needles, that was a bit much.
