The only place I'm carded these days is at one of the grocery stores if I'm buying booze.  But they card everyone there as part of store policy.

I never snuck into a movie, then again, they usually just let me buy the tickets    Or I would just get my parents to buy them so it didn't really matter

Another thing is which auditorium the movies are in. If Deadpool and KFP were up by the ticket taker right next to each other employees could see me and I'd be kicked out

I hear the reason Wild Hogs made so much money was because of kids buying a ticket to that and sneaking in to 300

The plot of the Goldberg's this week was buying a ticket to Annie then sneaking in to see Porky's

I'm pretty sure only Tele (of course), DAR, and Baumer are the only other ones who remember this, but the whole "carding at the movies" thing was an especially big deal back in 1999 when many were blaming violent movies/video games (in particular, The Matrix) for causing Columbine. I remember reading that summer stories about a lot of teens who were buying tickets for PG-13 movies just to sneak into R-rated ones like the South Park film and were caught trying to do so.
