That's not bad at all. I think a global total in excess of $700 million is easily obtained before this movie drops out of theaters. Not sure if $800 million is there but it might be in play if the international numbers stay good and domestic numbers stabilize.

800 is gone imo.

750+ would be tops.

Can't go below 700 unless something really surprising happens (like Japan disappoints big time with sub-40m).

 

But at this point 700 to 750 is all the same expectations wise (disappointing but saved face) and to Disney as it's pointed out in other posts how diversified the POTC revenue stream is.

Dom (at least 30 short) took away a shot at 800 pretty early. China did very well but early pre-sales 200+ prospects turned out to be off.

20 odd more in China, 30 odd more Dom could have given 800 or close without parallel changes in other markets.

So with Thursday's figures Pirates is sitting at $550.2 million worldwide before Friday and the weekend starts. Very nice. Box Office Mojo has not figured in the international tally on their website.

34 is a hefty weekend drop OS. 55%+

OS estimate last weekend was 74 but actual weekend came in higher. hoping that happens this time to. 

 

But 700 is locked.

 

25 more Dom and 55 more OS from current markets gives 680+.

 

750 is possible if Japan does really well. Will get close at least.

Glad it is over 600m. Hope domestic and overseas estimates go up again. Next week has no action competition so I'm hoping  for a good hold

Feeling like 760 ww could happen in the end where we will be left lamenting shortage of 20-25 dom and 15-20 China for missing 800.

But at least China's performance is strong. Dom is especially unfulfilling - would have accepted 180.

Depp's rep may have gone down dom.

 

But still feels a bit inexplicable it could do 600 os but only 160 dom.

Admissions wise it won't be much behind POTC4 os.

May be for you. Its run was quite obvious. Nothing surprising at all. 

 

But its OS run is good. Russia is spectacular, china is solid. If Japan has a good run then its overall decent. Pirates 6 happening for sure. That would drop in domestic even more but disney wont care as OS is there to save it.
