Just like Star wars. Ford, Hamill and Fisher didn't get anywhere after all that exposure.

Happens with franchise actors

It was the doing cocaine that screwed up Fisher's career, not Star Wars.

Hamill had an amazing voice acting career after Star Wars.

Ford is Ford. I don't know what the hell you are talking about, man.

I don't expect less from Burton. Does it still feel like a kids movie though ?

In places, once the Hollows arrive, it does take a darker turn but it's more Jurassic World or Harry Potter sort of scary.

It's the MPAA, don't try to make sense of it's rating.

I think PG-13 was about right, it wasn't suitable for younger kids but anyone 10-15 would be fine.

I'm sorry did you just say HARRISON FUCKING FORD got nowhere after being in Star Wars?:lol::lol::lol:

He got very little work from 77-81 after star wars came out. He became a leading man and big star after Lucas cast him in Indy in 81. Indy catapulted him.

Fisher said she turned to drugs after she couldn't get cast in much anything else after SW

We were talking about movie careers, not voice careers.

Fords wasn't ford until post indy,

He did seven films between ANH and Empire which for the most part kept him in the public conscious

Before Star Wars, Ford was going to give up on acting and be a carpenter. So SW definitely helped his career, Indy gave him his second iconic role.
Fisher was already doing drugs heavily while being filmed in Empire Strikes Back, I imagine most actors do some but doing too much is never a good thing.
Hamill did good, not everyone can be a huge star. He will always be the best Joker.

True but even $15M would be close to a 60% drop. This year is proof that we're living in the frontloaded era.

Don't Breathe is showing good legs, especially for a mean, R-rated horror movie with no one to really root for (maybe that helped it stand out).

Sully is showing good legs.

Hell or High Water is holding nicely.

We've been living in the frontloaded era for some time now.
