DAJK
Even with soft drops yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if Girl on the Train slightly increases today it has better drop than the other movies. It's the type of film that explodes on Tuesday's.

Lol just normal patterns even films with great wom can't escape the holiday effects. So something with average wom for sure won't buck the trend. In fact; movies like Me Before You, Bad Moms, Bridget Jones are our only non-blockbuster movies (aka Dory, TJB) that sold out really any show this year.
Captain Craig
All this New Age retroactive hate for Columbus by liberals that so many of you millennials just run with....give me a break. I've never felt it was a Holiday worth having but the retro hate is absurd. Were the European explorers Saints, no, but this selective retro hate for events/persons throughout history is annoying. Deal with the here and now people. On topic: the drops are disappointing to see but with NFL ratings also down it's harder to peg it on that. Also, Sunday nights debate is Sunday night, not exactly a huge night at the theater anyway. More likely the choices currently out are the largest factor for the drops.
