As well as directing the film alongside Byron Howard, Jared Bush will co-write the screenplay with Charise Castro Smith. Smith has previously written and produced episodes of The Haunting of Hill House.

Trailer releases work differently since the beginning of the pandemic. We don't even have a trailer for Vivo and that's supposed to be released in less than two months! Right now, we get trailers for theatrical releases like 1-2 months in advance, similar to trailers for streaming releases.
